News | 22-06-2026 My research proposal ACROPOLIS, entitled Global country-to-country exchanges of anthropogenic ozone pollution and the associated health burdens, was selected for funding through the 4th Call for H.F.R.I. Research Projects to Support Postdoctoral Researchers. As part of the project activities, the ACROPOLIS online kick-off workshop was held on 26 May 2026, presenting the project's objectives, methodological framework, and planned research activities. We assess the future health burden of air pollution in Greece under different SSP climate change and demographic scenarios, highlighting the importance of the individual drivers (population growth, ageing, air pollution).
